Bhubaneswar: Following three days of heavy rain, the Nandankanan Zoological Park will be closed to tourists for a day on Tuesday.
The zoo authorities said the decision was taken in view of the safety of tourists as well as the animals.
They added that the four safari parks and boating in Kanjia lake will be suspended during this period.
The authorities informed that all the animals were safe despite heavy rain as adequate precautions were taken.
