Bhubaneswar: In a blatant breach of privacy, a list of persons with foreign travel history reportedly put under quarantine to prevent the spread of the deadly virus has gone viral on social media.
The person who brought this to light said that he had registered himself on the official COVID-19 web portal of the Odisha government as part of precautionary measure despite having returned to the state before March 4.
The person has reportedly been getting anonymous calls disturbing him to a great extent. He is now questioning how someone got to know of the confidential database.
The list, which has gone viral, has put many people at risk.
According to reports, people have been dialling 104 the helpline number to say that a COVID-19 suspect is roaming outside.
