Odisha’s Prateema Panda Crowned Mrs Queen Universe

Bhubaneswar: Fashion model Prateema Panda did Odisha proud by winning Mrs. Queen Universe at the recent MIHM Miss and Mrs. Queen Universe beauty pageant contest in Gurugram.

She was crowned winner among 46 contestants from different states of India.

“This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity and Achievement for me. This will be a moment in my life that will always be remembered and I will be cherished this moment forever. Finally this day has arrived in my life…I got the pageant and I am the holder of the Mrs. Queen Universe crown for 2019. WOW!!! No words can define the moment!!!” said Prateema in her Facebook post after winning the title.

Besides thanking the event organizer Ms Naaz Joshi, the first Indian transsexual to win the title of Ms World Diversity 2018, she credited her success to her husband and children.

Speaking to the media later, Prateema said that she was keen to act in Ollywood movies and open a modelling school in future.

The beauty contest was organised by (MIHH) Mrs India Home Maker from June 16 to 19.
