Puri: With the number of COVID-19 cases rising in Odisha, Puri district has crossed more than a half-century after 17 more patients detected positive on Saturday.
In the last 24 hours, the number of infected people in the state has risen to 1269 after the detection of 80 fresh cases on Sunday. On the other hand, 62 patients recovered on Saturday.
Puri has crossed half-century with 65 positive cases, while four coronavirus patients have recovered so far, bringing the total number of active cases in the district to 61.
