Odisha’s Rashmi Rani Patra Is ‘Ms Popular’ In Singapore

Odisha-born Rashmi Rani Patra has won the ‘Ms Popular Award, a subsidiary title, at Mrs Singapore Beauty Queen 2019.

The event was held on May 5 and she grabbed the title by polling the highest number of votes among 16 contestants.

Rashmi is also the first Odia who will sashay on the runway of the beauty contest to be held later this month. She is among the top finalists.

A native of Bhubaneswar, she moved to Singapore in 2010. She completed MSc in Zoology from Utkal University and did her MBA from Regional College of Management, Bhubaneswar.

Mother of an 11-year-old son, she is currently working for AXA and is also as a freelance artist. “I have been modelling as a hobby since last year. This contest will help me to tap my potential and exhibit my talent,” she had said.
