Rourkela: A team of three executives from Rourkela Steel Plant (RSP) has won the prestigious Chairman’s Trophy for Young Managers (CTYM) conducted by SAIL for 2019-20.
The members of the winning team are Avinash Patnaik, senior manager, Plate Mill; Ricky Agarwal, manager, MSS and S Sreenath, manager, Steel Melting Shop-I. The competition was organised on a web platform.
Congratulating the team, Dipak Chattaraj, CEO, RSP said the RSP is proud of their achievements.
The CTYM competition is conducted by SAIL every year to develop a culture of learning, innovation and creativity in the organisation. It also helps in encouraging managerial excellence among the young mangers by motivating self-development through reading and applying the management concepts in an empirical environment.
The team from Durgapur Steel Plant has become the Runners Up in the competition. Seven teams from different SAIL units participated in the finals of the prestigious competition held on Saturday.
