Chennai: Odisha’s Rutaparna and Swetaparna Panda were at their best in the Yonex-Sunrise All India Senior Ranking Badminton tournament in Chennai.
The sisters combined well to stop short of clinching the title, finishing runners-up in the Women’s Doubles event.
Uttarakhand’s Dhruv Negi won his maiden Men’s Singles crown. The 20-year-old from Lakshya Sen’s state defeated Pranay Katta 20-18, 14-16, 15-11 in the final.
