Bhubaneswar: SAI International School in Odisha capital has made a mark in the swimming terrain yet again by emerging as the overall East Zone Champions in the CBSE Far East Zone Competition 2022 by bringing home 26 gold, 11, silver, 7 bronze medals.
SAIoneers have accomplished several well-acclaimed accolades in the CBSE Zonal Level Competition 2022 that commenced in MM School at Raipur in Chhattisgarh from December 2 to 6.
“It was splendid to see our SAIoneers secure 1st, 2nd & 3rd ranks in various genres such as 50m/100m/200m/400m Freestyle, 50m/100m Backstroke, 50m/100m/200m Breaststroke, 50m Butterfly & 200m Individual Medleys, Freestyle Relays & many more,” a release from the school said.
Nayantara Karthikeyan, Divyanka Dibyajyoti Pradhan, Prachi Bharadwaj Padhi, Akankshya Nayak, Suryansh Mohapatra, Vaibhaab Suman, Mannata Mishra, Yajat Gupta & Ayush Aryaman Badu in the U-19 category & Devansh Sahoo in the U-11 category stood out at the swimming competition by securing the maximum awards.
“I am elated to witness my SAIoneers not only excel in academics but also making a mark in the sporting arenas, nationally or internationally. I am happy to share that SAIoneers have unlocked such paramount milestones in the swimming terrain by turning out to be the overall group champions in the far eastern zone.’’, said Chairperson of SAI International Education Group, Dr Silpi Sahoo.
