Puri: Shri Jagannath Sanskrit Visvavidyalaya announced the results of Shastri (Plus III) and Upashastri (Plus II) final year examinations on Friday.
Of 4416 students of 135 colleges, who had appeared in the Shastri examination, 3389 have passed putting the success rate at 76.74% compared to 84.96% last year.
In the Upashastri examinations, 8751 students of 167 colleges had appeared. Of them, 6652 have cleared the examination with a pass percentage of 82.88 compared to 86.66 last year.
In a release, controller of examinations of the university Dharanidhar Rana said that the students can get the results in the website www.orissaresults.nic.in.
