Bhubaneswar: An Odia man, Siddhartha Mohanty has been appointed as Managing Director of Life Insurance Corporation (LIC). Presently serving as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of LIC Housing Finance, he will taking the charge as MD from with effect from February 1.
Mohanty will be replacing TC Suseel Kumar, who is set to retire on January 31.
The appointments committee of the cabinet (ACC) on Tuesday approved the appointment of Mohanty till his superannuation on June 30, 2023.
