Odisha’s Single Window Authority Approves 11 Projects Worth Rs 3,266 Crore

Bhubaneswar: The State Level Single Window Clearance Authority (SLSWCA) of Odisha on Monday approved 11 industrial projects worth around Rs 3266 crore.

The SLSWCA approved the projects in various sectors including Metal Downstream and Ancillary, Chemicals, Food Processing, Agro Processing, Plastics, Textiles Apparel, IT & ESDM and Renewable Energy at its meeting chaired by chief secretary Pradeep Kumar.

These projects, which would be set up in Balasore, Balangir, Kalahandi, Khurda and Jajpur districts, are expected to generate 9,146 employment opportunities.

The projects that got SLSWCA approval are following:

• Nestle India Limited’s food processing unit with an investment of over Rs 890 crore providing employment to over 800 people.
• Colortone Garments Pvt Ltd’s integrated apparel manufacturing facility along with 1.2 MW rooftop captive solar power plant with Rs 200 crore providing employment to over 4820 people.
• Chemical manufacturing unit of Himadri Speciality Chemical Limited with an investment of over Rs 980 crore providing employment to over 1400 people.
• Three key projects in the plastics sector. IDVB Recycling Operations Pvt Ltd to set up a unit of recycled pet flakes and recycled per resin products with an annual capacity of 63,000 MT with an investment of Rs 318 crore providing employment to over 240 people.
