Bhubaneswar: Odisha’s State Level Single Window Clearance Authority (SLSWCA) on Monday approved 22 projects worth Rs 4,066.71 crore.
At its meeting, chaired by Chief Secretary Pradeep Kumar Jena, the SLSWCA approved the new projects spanning various sectors including green energy equipment, chemical, textiles and apparel, steel, iron & ferro alloys, aluminium downstream, food processing, power & renewable energy, IT infrastructure, infrastructure and logistics.
The projects will be executed in 12 districts with a total employment generation potential of 25,525. Following projects were approved in the meeting:
- Waaree Clean Energy Solutions Pvt Limited’s Electrolyser Manufacturing Plant in Khurda with a cost of Rs 435 crore
- Shalimar Paints Limited’ Paints Varnish and its Applied Products project in Balasore with Rs 135 crore
- Reliance Bio Energy Limited’s two new projects on Compressed Biogas, Fermented Organic Manure in Dhenkanal and Cuttack with Rs 242.42 crore
- SSIL Paint Industries Private Limited’s proposal to manufacture paint and allied products with Rs 150 crore in Khurdha
- OFB Tech Private Limited’s project in Khurda on men’s and women’s casual top and bottom wear, denim jeans, knitted apparel for women men and kids along with leather products with Rs 857 crore
- Enrich Clothing Inc’s readymade garments manufacturing
unit in Cuttack with Rs 52.50 crore - Shalimar Wires Industries Limited to set up Synthetic Fabric for Industrial Filtration in Khurda with Rs 76 crore
- BMW Industries Limited’s galvanised plain coil, colour coating line and cold rolling mill in Jajpur with a project cost of Rs 713 crore
- Segma Profiles Pvt Ltd’ steel structure profiles and pipes manufacturing unit in Sambalpur with Rs 54.26 crore
- Shyam Steel Fabrications Pvt Ltd’s metal beam crash barriers, octagonal poles high mast and swaged poles, and RDSO-approved bridges and structures for the steel downstream sector with Rs 90 crore in Khurda
- Bajrangbali Minmet Pvt Ltd’s unit for instant pasta and vermicelli, sweet potato powder production with Rs 52.10 crore in Sundargarh
- OFB Tech Private Limited’s project to produce maize starch powder, maize germ, maize gluten, bran fibre, and enriched bran fibre for Rs 150 crore in Nabarangapur
- Hindalco Industries Limited’s solar Pv power project in Koraput with Rs 200 crore, Tata Steel Limited’s 22 MW Solar Pv power plant in Sundargarh with Rs 125.69 crore and Adani Total Energies Biomass Limited’s compressed biogas plant with Rs 136.50 crore in Sambalpur
- Pine Square LLP and AK Das Associates Ltd’s IT Parks in Khurda with Rs 110 crore and Rs. 51.62 crore respectively
- Geo Impex and Logistics Pvt Ltd’s manufacturing unit in Chatrapur, Ganjam with Rs 207 crore and Koli Commercial LLP’s project on coal transportation through Railway Siding in Angul with Rs 77.12 crore
- Cabcon India Limited’s proposal to produce 72000 MT cable conductors in Jharsuguda with a project cost of Rs 100 crore
- Rice Lake Weighing Systems India Limited’s material handling systems with Rs 51 crore in Khurda.
