Bhubaneswar: State Vigilance Academy (SVA) in Bhubaneswar has been awarded ISO Certification 9001:2015 for 3 years from 2022 to 2025.
The premier anti-corruption training academy was selected for the prestigious certification on the basis of the quality of training on anti-corruption laws and infrastructure.
The Academy, which is the first of its kind for any state in the country, has been functioning from November 20, 2018 and conducting training for All India/State Civil Service cadre officers from IAS, IPS, IFS, OAS, OPS, OFS, OFoS, OT & AS, 0SPS, ORS, OWS, OCS and OES rank.
During 2018 to 2021, the Academy has conducted 47 training courses and 1279 officers from various cadres of Central and State governments have undergone the training.
In 2022, total 388 officers from various cadres of both Central and State governments including IAS, IFoS, OAS, OPS, OFS, OT & AS, OFoS, ORS, Odisha State Prosecution Service, Vigilance Inspectors, Vigilance Sub-Inspectors, Vigilance ASI participated in the training/workshops on anti-corruption laws and preventive vigilance, according to a release from Vigilance Directorate.
