Bhubaneswar: Odisha’s sand artist Sudarsan Pattnaik wished Prime Minister Narendra Modi on his birthday on September 17 in his signature style with a stunning sand sculpture on the Puri beach. In a post on Twitter, Sudarsan Pattnaik shared a picture of the sculpture that he made in honour of PM Modi and sent birthday greetings to the leader as well.
The sand art features PM Modi’s sculpture with a message that reads, “Happy Birthday Modi Ji.” The sculpture was adorned with 2035 seashells.
“Wishing our honourable Prime Minister @narendramodi ji on his birthday. May Mahaprabhu Jagannatha bless him with long and healthy life to serve mother India. I’ve created a sand art installation, used 2035 seashells with message #HappyBirthdayModiJi at Puri beach, Odisha,” Sudarsan Pattnaik said in the caption of his post.

Sudarsan Pattnaik’s post garnered thousands of likes within hours of being made available online. In the comments section, social media users applauded Sudarsan Pattnaik for his work.
This is not the first time that the sand artist has used seashells. Earlier in September this year, he used more than 7000 seashells for the first time. “I think this is the world’s first seashells sand installation art of Lord Ganesh,” said Sudarsan. He had created a beautiful sculpture of Lord Ganesha.
