Bhubaneswar: Sushree Dibyadarshini is the only Odisha cricketer to have been picked for the Senior Women’s One-Day Challenger Trophy.
The Board of Control for Cricket in India’s women’s selection committee has chosen five teams for the competition – A, B, C, D and E.
Sushree has been named in Team D for the tournament to be held in Chennai from January 5 to 15.
The five teams will play each other once in a round-robin format, with the top two qualifying for the final.
Sushree’s Team D will face Team C on January 5, Team E on January 9, Team B on January 11 and Team A on January 13.
The M A Chidambaram Stadium, Chepauk, will stage the final on January 15, and two other other league games including Team D’s clash against A.
All the matches will start at 9 am.
