Bhubaneswar: The Utkal University will conduct the BEd examination on online mode from January 7 next year.
The vice-chancellor of the university has approved a proposal in this regard, according to the comptroller of examination.
The approval has come in the wake of the demand of the students for online examination in view of restrictions due to COVID-19. The regular classes and examinations of the university are yet to begin due to the pandemic.
Around 850 students are expected to appear at the examination whose notification will be issued by the university soon.
