Bhubaneswar: Noted Odissi dancer and choreographer Dr Manjushree Panda was conferred with Asia Pacific Excellence Award at a function in Goa on Sunday.
She was honoured for her contribution to the field of Odissi.
She received the award at an international conference on the Development of World Economy after the COVID-19 pandemic. Representatives from many countries were present.
A faculty member of the Cultural Department at KISS, Bhubaneswar, Panda was recently awarded an Honorary Doctor of Letter for her creative performance and contributions to the field of Odissi dance as a Peace Builder by Global Peace University, USA.
