Bhubaneswar: For the first time, the Odisha Joint Entrance Examination (OJEE) will conduct the two-day computer-based test (CBT) for admission into the Post Graduate courses beginning on Saturday.
A total of 17,355 students have applied for admission into engineering and other professional courses including M.Tech, M.Arch, MCA, Lateral Entry-MCA, M.Pharm, M.Plan and MBA.
OJEE Chairman, Sudeep Kumar Chand said 8000 students will appear for the M.Tech, M.Arch, MCA, Lateral Entry-MCA, M.Pharm and M.Plan test on Saturday while the remaining 9,355 students will appear for the test for admission into MBA courses on Sunday.
The tests for M.Tech, M.Arch, MCA, Lateral Entry-MCA, M.Pharm and M.Plan will be conducted in three sittings i.e., from 9 am to 11 am, 1 pm to 3 pm and 4. 30 pm to 6.30 pm on Saturday.
The test for MBA courses will be held in two sittings. While the first sitting will be held between 10 am and 12 pm, the second sitting will be held between 3 pm and 5 pm.
Students have to report at the examination centre one-and-a-half hour before the commencement of the test.
Chand further said that the students have to download their fresh admit card from the official website of OJEE www.ojee.nic.in which is available since May 27. Admit cards downloaded before May 27 will not be considered as valid, he pointed out.
