Mumbai: After Ramayan, Doordarshan has decided to relaunch three more popular yesteryear shows — Mahabharat, Rajit Kapur-starrer Byomkesh Bakshi and Bollywood superstar’s Shah Rukh Khan’s tele-series Circus.
These shows are expected to help people tide over their time during the 21-days lockdown imposed to contain the spread of coronavirus in the country.
Circus, directed by Aziz Mirza and Kundan Shah, marked Shahrukh’s second outing on the small screen before he became a superstar in Bollywood. Renuka Shahane and Ashutosh Gowarikar also featured in the show.
The shows are also available on NewsOnAir app.
DD tweeted about the return of the popular detective show Byomkesh Bakshi based on the famous Bengali sleuth character created by Sharadindu Bandyopadhyay.
Here are the timings for the shows including the cult shows of the old versions of Mahabharat & Ramayana:
The DD National channel is available as channel number 149 on D2H and number 114 on Tata Sky.
