Sundargarh: An elderly man was trampled to death by an elephant at Jabaladihi village under Ujjwalapur Forest Range in Sundargarh district on Wednesday night. The deceased has been identified as Feje Tere (65) of Jabaladihi village. The wild elephant has also destroyed the houses of some people of the village. According to the sources, 13 jumbos from Chhattisgarh had entered Kinjirkela area and damaged several houses. The forest officials had shooed them away, but one jumbo had been left and created panic in Bandhabahal and Jabaladihi villages.
