Ollywood Actor & Director Badri Narayan Mohapatra Passes Away

Sambalpur: Well-known Odia flim actor and director Badri Narayan Patra breathed his last at Veer Surendra Sai Institute of Medical Sciences and Research (VIMSAR) in Burla on Tuesday. He was 83.

A native of Bhawanipatna town in Kalahandi district, Mohapatra had acted in popular Odia movies like ‘Samarpana’, ‘Palataka’ and ‘Janmadata’.

In recognition of his contribution to Odia cinema, he was conferred with the Odisha Sangeet Natak  Akademi Award.
