Ollywood Actor Papu Pom Pom Re-Admitted To AIIMS-New Delhi

Bhubaneswar: Ollywood comedy king Papu Pom Pom, who had returned to Odisha last month after undergoing treatment at All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) in New Delhi for nearly two months, has been re-admitted to the premiere hospital, reliable sources said.

The actor was admitted last week following infection in the pancreas, the sources said.

However, there has been no information from family members about his health.

Papu was earlier admitted to SUM Hospital in Bhubaneswar on May 5 after he complained of acute pain in the lower abdomen. He was later diagnosed with acute pancreatitis.

Though his condition was stable for two days, he was shifted to the ICU on May 7 following acute chest pain.

Doctors later advised his family to shift him to AIIMS in New Delhi for better treatment.

Papu was admitted to the ICU of the Gastroenterology department of AIIMS on May 15.

The actor returned to Bhubaneswar on July 10 after his health improved.
