Cuttack: Well-known Odia movie producer Subash Rout breathed his last at his residence at Chhatra Bazaar here in the early hours of Saturday. He was 62.
Rout who was suffering from cancer, died of a massive cardiac stroke, family sources said.
He had produced a number of popular Odia movies, including ‘Suna Panjuri’, ‘Santana’, ‘Bhagya Hate Dori’, ‘Laxman Rekha’ and ‘Singha Vahini’.<

‘Suna Panjuri’ with actor Sidhant Mohapatra in the lead role, had earned him immense popularity.
Rout had also produced the Odia tele serial ‘Bidhatara Khela’.
Several Ollywood actors, producers and directors have expressed profound grief over his demise.
