Cuttack: Ollywood heroine Varsha Priyadarshini lodged a police complaint against husband Anubhav Mohanty’s fan-club page on Facebook, allegedly for posting vulnerable comments against her.
According to sources, some fans of Ollywood star and MP Anubhav Mohanty had allegedly posted some vulgar comments on Varsha’s character on the FB page.
Following this, Varsha lodged a complaint at Purighat police station here. In her complaint, the actress also accused Anubhav’s fans of posting her picture on the page and writing obscene comments under it.
“As thousands of people follow the page, it has adversely affected my image,” Varsha told police.
She demanded strong action against the abusive fans and delete the bad comments against her immediately.
Police have started an investigation into the matter. They have also written to Facebook officials, seeking more information about the page.
Notably, a case on Anubhav and Varsha’s marital discord is underway in the Supreme Court.
