OMC Organises Customers’ Meet In Odisha Capital

Bhubaneswar: The Odisha Mining Corporation (OMC) organised a ‘Customers’ Meet’ for buyers of iron, chrome and bauxite ores at Hotel Mayfair here on Wednesday.

A large number of representatives from mineral-based industries in the state attended the meet, held in compliance with COVID-19 guidelines.

OMC Chairman Deoranjan Kumar Singh presided over the session. Addressing the meet, he said, “The prime objective of OMC is to promote mineral-based industries in the state and it will take all steps to increase mineral availability at market price to industries based in Odisha as well as across the country.”

OMC MD Balwant Singh welcomed the representatives and charted the growth path of OMC.

Representatives from major buyers like Jindal Steel Limited, Visa Steel, Jindal Steel & Power Limited, Aarti Steels, Bhusan Power & Steels, MSP Sponge Iron, Tata Steel BSL, IMFA Ltd, Shyam Metalics & Energy Limited, Vedanta Limited, Ardent Steel, BC Mohanty & Sons were present on the occasion.
