Bhubaneswar: With the rise in COVID-19 cases and its Omicron variant, the Nandankanan Zoological Park authorities on Monday extended restrictions on picnic in the Botanical Garden.
According to a notification, picnic will remain prohibited till January 31. However, entry of visitors to the Botanical Garden will be allowed. They can avail entry tickets offline as well as online.
Stress will be on COVID appropriate behaviour to check the spread of Omicron.
The zoo officials informed that refund for Pindis/Cottage which had been booked earlier and FRHs will be made within 10 working days. It is pertinent to mention here that the Nandankanan Zoological park is closed for visitors till January 3, 2022.
