Omkar Rai Relieved From Post Of Startup Odisha Executive Chairman

Bhubaneswar: The state government has relieved Omkar Rai from the post of Executive Chairman of Startup Odisha.

According to a notification issued by the MSME department of government of Odisha, Rai was relieved from the post with effect from September 30.

Rai, the former Director General of Software Technology Parks of India (STPI) was appointed Executive Chairman of Startup Odisha in April, 2022.

Headquartered in Bhubaneswar,
Startup Odisha came under scanner following MSME Minister Gokulananda Mallik’s surprise visit to O-Hub in July this year.

According to sources, Rai had resigned from the post after the Minister’s visit to O-Hub Bhubaneswar.
