On Father’s Day, Shah Rukh Wishes ‘Baby’ Suhana & Team ‘Archies’ After Trailer Release [Watch]

Mumbai: The teaser and first trailer of Zoya Akhtar’s ‘The Archies’ was unveiled at the Netflix Tudum event in Brazil’s Sao Paulo.

The upcoming Netflix film, a musical based on the characters of the popular American comics series Archies, will mark the debut of celebrity kids like Suhana Khan, Agastya Nanda and Khushi Kapoor.

To lift the budding stars, Shah Rukh Khan took to Twitter on Father’s Day to wish daughter Suhana and the others.

“On Father’s Day – here’s wishing the best to my baby… all the babies… and Tiger Baby… for #TheArchies!” Shah Rukh wrote and also shared the teaser.

According to Netflix, ‘The Archies’ is being billed as a coming-of-age story that will introduce teenagers of Riverdale, the fictional hill station, to a new generation in India.

The film will see Dot as Ethel Muggs, Amitabh Bachchan’s grandson and Shweta Nanda’s son Agastya as Archie Andrews, Sridevi’s younger daughter Khushi as Betty Cooper, Mihir Ahuja as Jughead Jones, Suhana as Veronica Lodge, Vedang Raina as Reggie Mantle and Yuvraj Menda as Dilton Doiley.

The entire team took to the stage to perform the song ‘Sunoh’.
