Bhubaneswar: Rear trolley of a general coach next to guard van of Mahima Gosain Express derailed near Sambalpur railway station on Thursday morning.
According to East Coast Railway (ECoR), the minor derailment occurred at 9.22 am in the Sambalpur city –Sambalpur section while the train was moving at a very slow speed. “One trolley of a general coach of Mahima Gosain Express went off track shortly after it departed from Sambalpur city at 9.18 am,” it said.
The train runs from Shalimar to Sambalpur.
It further informed that no loss of life was reported in the incident and the train has already left for Sambalpur. “Railway officials including DRM are overseeing early restoration of traffic and inquiring about the incident,” it added.
