One COVID Warrior Among New 10 Cases In Odisha’s Malkangiri

Malkangiri: The COVID-19 tally in Malkangiri district rose to 306 on Tuesday with the overnight addition of 10 positive cases.

Among the new cases, five each were reported from Malkangiri municipality and Balimela locality.

The details of the new cases:

In Malkangiri municipality, two cases, including a corona warrior, are close contacts of previous positive cases and three are symptomatic referrals from a flu and fever clinic.

In Balimela, four cases are close contacts of previous positive cases. The fifth patient was detected during a house to house survey.

The district administration has begun the contact tracing of the new cases.

With 161 patients having been cured of the infection so far, Malkangiri has 145 active cases at present.
