One Critical As Massive Fire Devours Several Houses In Odisha’s Satyabadi

Puri: Massive fire engulfed around 30 houses, belonging to 15 families, at Alisa village under Satyabadi block in Odisha’s Puri district late on Monday.

According to sources, the fire broke out at around 1.40 am at one of the houses and subsequently spread to the adjoining ones, damaging properties worth lakhs of rupees. One person sustained critical burn injuries in the mishap as the flames devoured three cattle.

Though the exact reason behind the fire mishap is not known, a short circuit is being suspected to have caused it.
