Bhubaneswar: One person died and four others were critically injured after the car in which they were travelling met with an accident on Gohira flyover near Tamando area in Odisha capital late on Sunday.
The deceased has been identified as Biswajit Ray of Balianta.
According to sources, the accident took place when the speeding car crashed into a truck after hitting the median while en route to Bhubaneswar from Khurda. The truck driver could not stop the vehicle as the car suddenly crossed over to the other side.
Identity of the four injured, who have been admitted to AIIMS-Bhubaneswar, is yet to be ascertained.
