Keonjhar: Tension prevailed near the Baitarani bridge at Bijagotha under Bansapala block of Keonjhar district after a youth died in a road mishap on Sunday night.
The dead youth was identified as Manoj Dangua of Bijagotha. Sources said Dangua was returning home from Bansapala when a tractor hit his bike, killing him on the spot. The driver of the tractor fled from the spot. Angry residents set the tractor on fire and blocked the Bansapala-Suakati road.
On receiving information, the police reached the spot and defused the situation.
