Ganjam: Tension gripped Nuagada village under Hinjilikatu Notified Area Council (NAC) in Ganjam district after a clash broke out between two groups on Saturday.
A person sustained serious injuries in the clash. He was admitted to MKCG Medical College and Hospital in Berhampur. His condition is stated to be critical.
On being informed about the incident, a police team rushed to the spot and brought the situation under control.
Though the reason behind the clash is yet to be known, some local residents told police that it was the fallout of past enmity.
