Nabarangpur: In a tragic incident, one person was killed and 20 others injured in a bus accident near Hatibadi under Jharigaon block in Nabarangpur on Wednesday.
According to sources, the incident took place when the bus carrying a groom and his relatives from Chhattisgarh was moving towards Haldi village in Raighar block. The accident occurred as the bus rammed into a roadside tree.
The driver of the bus died on the spot.
On being informed, the police reached the spot and took the body for post mortem.
All the injured persons were rushed to Jharigaon Hospital.
