Bhubaneswar: A man died on the spot while his son was seriously injured after a truck rammed their scooty on Monday morning.
According to sources, two persons were on the way towards CRP Square when a speeding truck hit their scooty on a flyover near Acharya Vihar. So severe was the collision that the duo with the scooty fell off a height of about 30 feet.
While the father died on the spot, the seriously injured son was rushed to the Capital Hospital in a critical condition.
The identity of the deceased was not immediately known.
Following information, Saheed Nagar police rushed to the spot and seized the truck and arrested the driver.
