Balasore: One person was killed after two sand-laden dumpers collided head-on at Soro in Balasore district on Thursday afternoon.
The deceased was identified as Khirod Sahu, driver of one of the dumpers and a resident of Dhusuri village in Bhadrak district.
According to preliminary investigation, brake failure or over speeding could have led to the accident on NH 16 near Tulasi Ashram. Police have seized both the vehicles and further investigation is on.
