Cuttack: One person was killed while another four sustained serious injuries after a clash broke out between two families at Dhurusia village under Khuntuni police limits in Cuttack district late on Friday night. The identity of the deceased is not known yet.
According to locals, heated arguments led to fight between the members of both the families on dispute over a land that had persisted long between the two families. The agreement took an ugly turn after they attacked with sticks and pelted stones at each other resulting in the death of a person and leaving four injured.
On being informed, a team of Khuntuni police rushed to the spot and started an investigation into the matter.
