One Killed, Over 10 Injured In Group Clash In Cuttack Village

CuttacK: One person was killed and over 10 were injured in a group clash, which erupted  between Sagar and Panchagochia villages over breaching of an embankment, at Narasinghpur in Cuttack district on Sunday.

The deceased was identified as Sridhar Samal (44) of Sagar village. The injured were admitted to Narasinghpur hospital. Two among them, Harihar Behera and Sadanand Pradhan, were later shifted to the SCB Medical College and Hospital, Cuttack, after their condition deteriorated.

According to sources, people of both the villages attacked each other with sharp weapons.

On being informed, police reached the spot. Investigation is underway.
