Rayagada: One person was killed while another suffered grievous injuries when two motorcycles collided head-on at Kotapada village under Kolnara police limits in Rayagada district on Saturday.
The deceased was identified as Lachamaya Palali, a resident of T Silakadhi village in the district. Locals got injured Muguli Laxman admitted to district headquarters hospital by the locals.
On being informed about the accident, police reached the spot and seized the bikes.
Local attributed the accident to recklessness of the bikers. Both were over speeding, they added.
