One Killed, Three Injured As Fire Truck Overturns

Nabarangpur: A person was killed and three others suffered grievous injuries after the fire brigade in which they were travelling overturned near Jamarunda in Nabarangpur district late

The deceased was identified as Purna Chandra Jani, an official of Umerkote fire station.

Those injured were admitted to a local hospital. Their condition was stated to be critical.

The accident apparently happened after the driver of the vehicle lost control over it while negotiating a turn.

In another incident, a deer was killed after being hit by a motorcycle near Baranga forest in Anandpur of Keonjhar district.

The biker was also injured in the incident.
