Athagarh: A person was killed and two others sustained critical injuries after a speeding truck ran over them near Gobindpur Chhack under Tangi police limits in Cuttack district late on Thursday.
The deceased has been identified as Harihar Mallick (70), a trolley driver.
The injured persons Kathia and Santara Mallick were admitted to SCB Medical College and Hospital for treatment.
The incident took place at around 3 am when the truck ran over them after crashing into three shops.
The victims were sleeping on trolleys near a shop to unload goods when the incident took place.
