Malkangiri: One Maoist was killed and a huge quantity of arms and ammunition was seized on Sunday after an encounter between security forces and Leftwing extremists in Sukma near Malkangiri on the Odisha-Chhattisgarh border.
The encounter took place in Timapuram area.
After Intelligence inputs that Maoists had set up camps in the nearby jungles, the security forces launched operations against the Maoists.
