Bhubaneswar: Another legislator of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) of the state has tested positive for COVID-19.
Biramitrapur MLA Shankar Oram shared the information about his COVID-19 test results on Friday. “I underwent COVID-19 test today following illness. I have tested positive for the virus,” he said.
Doctors have advised him to be under quarantine for 17 days. His condition was stated to be stable.
Earlier, Puri MLA Jayanta Kumar Sarangi and Malkangiri MLA Aditya Madhi of BJP have tested COVID-19 positive.
