One More COVID-19 Death In Odisha’s Cuttack; Corona Warrior Tests Positive

Cuttack: COVID-19 death toll in Cuttack city mounted to two with one more patient succumbing to the virus on Sunday, Cuttack Municipal Corporation (CMC) tweeted.

The CMC identified the deceased as a resident of the Cantonment area in Cuttack.

On the other hand, one more person in the city has tested positive for COVID-19 in the last 24 hours.


The 46-year-old man is working with Odisha Police at Sector-9 of CDA, the CMC informed.

“Further contact tracing, sanitisation work, and active surveillance in the areas concerned are being carried out,” a CMC official said.

With one fresh case, the COVID-19 tally in Cuttack city went up to 35 on Sunday. The virus has claimed two lives in the city while 22 patients have recovered from the infection so far.
