Cuttack: Cuttack Municipal Corporation on Tuesday reported a new corona positive case, taking the total tally of affected pers
ons in the city to 30.
Overall, Cuttack district reported three cases, including the one in the city.
According to a CMC tweet, the new patient is a 23-year-old man from Jhanjir Mangala area with recent travel history to Chennai.
He has been shifted to the COVID hospital.
On the other hand, one death due to COVID-19 was reported in Cuttack city. The deceased was a resident of Mahanadi Vihar. This was the first COVID-19 death in Cuttack.
With one death and 21 recoveries, Cuttack now has eight active cases.
