Bhubaneswar: Among the four patients, who had tested positive for COVID-19 on Saturday, two are from Sundargarh, one from Jharpada in Bhubaneswar and the other from Kendrapada, sources in Health and Family Welfare Department said.
Odisha so far has 54 confirmed cases of novel coronavirus. With one more case from Jharpada, Bhubaneswar’s tally has gone up to 41. The lone COVID-19 deceased from Odisha was from this area of the city and three of his contacts – a 37-year-old woman and two girls aged 9 and 5 – had earlier tested positive for the virus.
And it is for the first time that COVID-19 cases have been reported from Sundargarh.
This is second positive case from Kendrapada.
With one death and 12 recoveries, Odisha now has 41 active cases.
