Mumbai: Mumbai Police on Friday detained one person at Bandra Police station for questioning in the Saif Ali Khan attack case, ANI reported. The news agency has also shared visuals of cops taking a man inside the police station. It is yet to be confirmed whether he is the same person who broke into the actor’s house on Thursday and stabbed him.
According to reports, Mumbai police has recovered a sword from Saif and Kareena’s house. On Friday morning, Kareena Kapoor, Soha Ali Khan and Sharmila Tagore paid a visit to the Lilavati Hospital in Mumbai, where the actor has undergone a surgery.
‘Saif shifted to general ward, doing well’
“Saif Ali Khan is a real hero…He is doing well. He has been shifted from ICU to a normal room…” Niraj Uttamani, Chief Operating Officer of Lilavati Hospital told the Times Now. “We made him walk, and he walked well…Looking at his parameters, his wounds and all the other injuries, he is safe to be shifted out of the ICU…He has to take rest and his movement has been restricted for a week,” Dr Nitin Dange, Chief Neurosurgeon at the hospital, told Times Now.
Where is the attacker?
According to reports, the accused was last seen near the Bandra Railway Station. Police suspect that the accused caught the first local train in the morning to go towards Vasai-Virar after the incident. Mumbai Police teams are searching in Vasai, Nallasopara and Virar, ANI reported.
