Jagatsinghpur: The COVID-19 tally in the district rose to 491 on Saturday with 22 fresh cases detected in the last 24 hours.
Of the 22 cases, 18 have been reported from Paradip, three from Naugaon, and one from Kujanga.
Among the Paradip cases, four have travel history to West Bengal while three are returnees from Uttar Pradesh, two each from Bihar, Gujarat, Haryana, Maharashtra, and Punjab, and one from Tamil Nadu.
The three corona positive persons in Naugaon are returnees from Andhra Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh and Qatar. All of them are in TMCs.
The Kujang case is a returnee from and is in TMC.
With 355 recovered patients, Jagatsinghpur district has 136 active cases at present.
