Bhubaneswar: A Bangladeshi child, who had fled the Ruchika open shelter home here on May 1, was caught at the Bhubaneswar railway station. Eleven other kids have gone missing.
“A total of 12 children had fled the shelter home after breaking the bathroom skylight on May 1. Basing on the complaint lodged at Lingaraj police station, one of the children has been nabbed during search operation. Efforts are underway to trace the other inmates. The shelter home has been asked to submit a detailed report within the next two days regarding the matter,” said child welfare committee (Khurda) member Benudhar Senapati.
